ASA High Rubber Powder delivers outstanding weather resistance, maintaining its integrity without yellowing, powdering, or cracking under prolonged sunlight exposure and repeated high-low temperature cycles, thereby substantially extending the service life of outdoor products. Its high-rubber core-shell structure effectively disperses impact forces, significantly enhancing impact resistance at both ambient and low temperatures, and effectively overcomes the brittleness and fracture issues commonly found in rigid plastics.
ASA High Rubber Powder exhibits excellent compatibility with resins such as PVC, SAN, PC, and PMMA. The powder disperses uniformly without agglomeration, ensuring stable melt flow and a broad processing window. During continuous production, it resists mold fouling and deposit build-up, reducing equipment cleaning and maintenance costs. Moreover, it enhances the material's resistance to heat and to corrosion from acids, alkalis, and rainwater. The powder features a pure white base color, enabling even color development without shade variation, and is suitable for producing finished parts with a variety of surface finishes, including high-gloss and matte appearances.
Applications
In the construction sector, ASA High Rubber Powder is suitable for PVC co-extruded doors and windows, SPC flooring, outdoor decorative wall panels, guardrails, outdoor rainwater pipes and their matching fittings, as well as outdoor signage. It effectively mitigates the outdoor aging issues commonly encountered in PVC products.
In the automotive industry, it can be used for automotive grilles, rearview mirror housings, bumper trim strips, new energy antenna covers, and motorcycle exterior parts. It simultaneously fulfills the requirements for weather resistance, impact resistance, and painting-free application.
In the field of modified alloys, it can be blended with SAN to produce ASA pellets, and formulated into PC/ASA and PBT/ASA weather-resistant alloys, which are suitable for photovoltaic housings and outdoor electronic enclosures. Additionally, it is well-suited for large-scale production of daily-use and industrial plastic products, including outdoor hoses, garden products, outdoor tool housings, and cable sheaths.
