1、 Improve impact resistance performance
1. Absorb impact energy
-PVC profiles may be subjected to various external impacts during use, such as collisions, falls, etc. Impact modifiers can absorb impact energy through their own deformation when the profile is impacted, thereby reducing the stress on the profile and preventing it from cracking or being damaged.
2. Prevent crack propagation
-Even if PVC profiles produce small cracks when subjected to impact, impact modifiers can prevent further crack propagation. It can change the propagation path of cracks and increase the energy required for crack propagation by interacting with PVC molecules, thereby improving the impact resistance of profiles.
2、 Improve low-temperature toughness
1. Maintain material flexibility
-At low temperatures, PVC materials become hard and brittle, and are prone to fracture. Impact modifiers can maintain the flexibility of PVC profiles at low temperatures, allowing them to have a certain degree of toughness and be less prone to cracking when subjected to external forces.
2. Improve frost resistance

1. Promote plasticization
-Impact modifiers can be better compatible with PVC resin, promote plasticization of PVC during processing, make materials easier to flow, reduce processing temperature and pressure, and improve production efficiency.
2. Improve melt flowability
-It can improve the fluidity of PVC melt, making it easier for profiles to fill molds during the molding process, reducing product defects, and improving product quality.
4、 Improve dimensional stability
1. Reduce shrinkage deformation
-PVC profiles may undergo shrinkage deformation during processing and use, affecting the dimensional accuracy and appearance quality of the products. Impact modifiers can reduce the shrinkage rate of PVC profiles, minimize shrinkage deformation, and improve the dimensional stability of profiles.
2. Prevent warping and deformation
-Impact modifiers can also prevent PVC profiles from warping and deforming during processing and use. It can improve the internal stress distribution of profiles by interacting with PVC molecules, making the shrinkage of profiles more uniform in all directions, thereby reducing the occurrence of warping deformation.
